I am yet again not clever enough for a title to this entry

Well first off I am still awake even though it is 6 in the morning. I am gonna go to sleep as soon as I am done posting. I drew these images right now I just had a sudden urge to draw so I put my headphones on listening to some music and just started drawing I drew other things but they weren't any good. I think the two I am posting is good though.

This drawing I tried my hand at digital painting in photoshop as you can see it is a simply drawing but I like its simple lines and color and i am a beginner in painting.

This is a self-portrait of yours truely I drew a cartoony version of a picture I took of myself one late night awhile back. I thought a simple black outline was too plain so I added a sort of chalk smudge to outer rim.

Well In this blog entry I thought hey why not post some photoshop pics I did using pictures of my friends and what not and here they are enjoy and if you are one of these people thank you.

I stole a picture off of dan's myspace gallery and I thought since he is in umbrella why not give him something to kill behind him and thus Dan Zombie Hunter was born.

I did this for a class two semesters ago

Well I was in a class called graphic design two semesters ago and the final project was to make a billboard of a real event in history from way back when till the end of time it just had to be a real event. I was having trouble choosing a event ended up doing the Escondido Renaissance Fair I liked it and I ended doing pretty good with painting as in my opinion I suck at painting.


Well in the picture you see it is placed on my old fold up desk and a dirty shirt on the ground.

I was bored and it worked out so well

I was bored awhile back and decided to put my face on a piece of candy it just so happened I had a picture of an orange flavor tootsie pop and here we are this is the result. If anyone would like me to mess with a picture of them in photoshop please send pics and I will try.

I'm BACK!!!

After many many months I have finally updated my blog and I am sure the only person to view this will be dan as he apparently subscribed to my blog if anyone else is viewing this let me know and thank you for viewing. As for the piece of art I am displaying today it is a sculpture I created last night using a hot glue gun and 56 empty water bottles why water bottles it cause my brother has not thrown away a single bottle for 4 months and decided to make a bottle man that represents him.

This piece is shown in my brother's room in his lazy boy chair. the pack of camels and the can of mickeys in his respective hands are two things my brother does daily ha ha. the red beanie and sunglasses were just a extra touch.

Potion

In the same graphic design class I have previous talked about I had to make a magical potion label. My potion was a potion of animation which mean it brings things to life. I wanted to make it look like those old snake oil medications that look a little iffy if they would work or not. The design was simple but i enjoy how that crazy professor looks. I wish i had a pic of the actual bottle i put this on well maybe later.

Illustration Class

So I just decided to post something I am working on in my illustration class (a side note the teacher in that class is annoying) since my previous post was about my graphic design class. So in my illustration class we are going through boot camp as she puts it just basic shading, boxes, spheres the usual stuff. The pics in this post are from a assignment to do a 8in X 8in drawing. Then with the drawing make two copies and use the set of gray markers(various percentages) to color one in high contrast( white to black) and low contrast(I did it white to 30% cool gray). Anywho enjoy my art and

Before Vs. After Vs. After Again

Before:

I did this drawing a couple of years ago.
The lines are thicker and it is grayscale

After:

This is the Brand New Revamped drawing.
I enjoyed redoing this one the color is nice I think
and I personally like the little piggys on fire good stuff.

This is the Redone Drawing but in
Grayscale I think both color and grayscale have
something going for them.

Sketch-A-Palooza

I went to the Del Mar Fair on Tuesday this week. Had a great time I saw many things as well as my pirate playing cards getting a first place ribbon if you want to see them they are in a previous post you can see them there. Then me and my friend nathaniel started to draw people and animals. I also drew a Amusement park ride called ZOMBIE. I had myself a funnel cake and a orange julius while at the fair which were both great.

what else could a person want oh yea thisBefore we hit the fair we ate at Burger King and when we were leaving this old man outside asked my friend nathaniel if he Wants to Rope-A-Dope(those exact words I kid you not).

Afterlife

Finally after two to three years I colored this drawing. I did this picture in my mini sketchbook scanned it in traced it out in photoshop. I then saved it as a tiff file and opened it in alias to color it and it turned out pretty nice if i say so myself.
